First Post!

First Post!

Hello everyone! Hopefully, eventually, there is an "everyone" looking at my posts. I am quite a boring individual, so we will see.

Today, I am just going to introduce myself and give you an idea of what to expect on this here blog.
This is me, Erin, being all cool with my headphones in and my peppermint mocha coffee. If you have seen my instagram (_erindouville), you will find that I have a small obsession with hot drinks.
Name: Erin Douville
Age: 21
Work: Costco Wholesale in Twin Falls, ID as a Front End Assistant (cashier's assistant/grocery boxer). I must say I absolutely love my job and have to take a second to brag about Costco here. Costco gives their employees amazing pay and amazing health benefits. When I got this job, it was such a blessing. Without it, my husband and I would not be able to make it month to month financially.
School: I graduated from Buhl High School in 2011 and I am currently attending Grand Canyon University in their online teaching program. I am studying to get my Bachelor's of Science in Secondary Education with an emphasis in English, so in other words I am going to school to be a high school English teacher.
General: I got married to the love of my life, Joshua, on January 5, 2013. He is an amazing, funny, and most importantly: a man of God. I am so blessed to have married a man like him and to have met him so young (I was not quite 18 when we met). I am a non-denominational Christian. This means that everything that I and my husband (and our church) believes in is based on exactly what the Bible says. We do not add to it and we do not take away from it. Meaning: Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior. God sent His son to redeem us from our sins so that we may join Him in heaven. Many Christian religions have other books that have been written that they follow as well as the Bible and many have "doctrines" that are not Biblical. For example: Dress in your best clothing. While I tend to dress nicely, and so do others that attend, many people wear a sweatshirt and jeans. My husband will even wear a hat on occasion *gasp*!
Goals: I only have one goal in life. I wish to grow in knowledge and in relationship with my Savior, Jesus Christ. In doing this, whatever God has planned for my life will follow. If God is in control, what other goal in life do I need other than following and trusting in Him?!

Here are a few wedding photos. The top one is my favorite. It is just plain amazing and fun and it really captures the moment. The second one is of our wedding party, and I think the most fun one of the everyone. The last one I thought gave a good perspective on Josh and I. We are always laughing and having a good time together.
Wedding Photography by: Cindy Lynn Photography located in Twin Falls, ID. I highly recommend her. She was awesome!

What to Expect on this Blog
I will be posting pretty randomly on here until I find a good rhythm with my posts and figure out how to get them into my routine. I will be posting about daily life, mostly. This will include anything out of the norm for me, recipes and cooking advice, possibly some makeup, hair and style posts, and sharing my devotions from the Bible. I hope you all really enjoy my posts! Please post comments for any other information about me you would like to know as well as what type of posts you would like to see!
♥Have a Blessed Day!
